Ethiopian Roads Authority (ERA) disclosed the construction of Akaki-IT Park (Goro) and Akaki-Lebu asphalt roads has been completed. The roads will connect Ethiopia’s capital with Addis-Adama Expressway.

The roads are both constructed by China Communications Construction Company Limited (CCCC) at an outlay of 4.6 billion Birr.

Out of the entire cost, 75 percent of it was covered by loan secured from Export Import Bank of China (EXIM Bank of China). The difference was covered by the Ethiopian government.

The project included 6 bridges, 4 interchanges and a railway crossing.

According to Fana Broadcasting Corporate the construction of the roads is completed 6 months before the scheduled time.
