Chinese officials led by Secretory General of Jiangsu Province, Lou Zhijun, will start an official visit to Ethiopia starting from June 2, 2016.
The officials will meet Hailemariam Dessalegn, Prime Minister of Ethiopia, to discuss business and investment relationship between the 2 countries. The delegation team will also review progress made by the forum established during Hailemariam’s last visit to China in September.
Other than meeting with the Premier, the delegation team will hold talks with Muktar Kedir, President of Oromia State and other high official of the State regarding ways to strengthen relations between Jiangsu and Oromia.
During their stay, the Chinese officials are expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that will enable Juangsu and Oromia create sister state partnership and collaboration on common issues.
