WAFA Marketing and Promotion PLC disclosed it has organized trade and investment forums in the United States (US) and Canada cooperating with Ethiopia’s Amhara State and stakeholders.

The forum will be held in the cities of Los Angeles (LA) and Toronto. The forum is aimed to promote trade and investment potentials of the State as well as create opportunity for the Ethiopian diaspora to engage in developing Amhara State and Ethiopia entirely.

The business forum to be held in LA will be attended by a delegate team of 57 people made up of government officials and businessmen. The forum in Toronto will also see the same number of people attending the event with 150 Canadians.

According to a statement by WAFA, the forum is expected to create opportunity for Ethiopian businesses to establish partnerships with overseas business.

The delegation team that will visit LA will be led by Gedu Andargachew, President of the Amhara State. Deputy Prime Minister, Demeke Mekonnen, on the other hand will lead the delegation team heading to Canada.
