Ethiopia’s telecom monopole, Ethio-Telecom, announce it will commence expansion project of its infrastructure.
The company’s CEO, Andualem Admassie, noted the construction would be undertaken to meet the telecom demands of giant corporations, higher learning institutions and industries found in Ethiopia.
The study as well as plan for the telecom expansion has already been conducted, the CEO added. The project is said to improve the company’s capacity to provide internet and broadband services.
The expansion work would commence once Ethio-Telecom gets approval from the government, Adualem added. The project is said to take a maximum period of 3 years.
