The Ministry Foreign Affairs (MoFA) stated that the Ethiopian government had been making efforts to boost bilateral relations with different countries, Walta Information Center reported.
Mr. Tewolde Mulugeta, Spokesperson of MoFA, told journalists that the Minister of MoFA, Dr. Tewodros Adhanom, had received Austrian Foreign Affairs Minister and Justice and states Minister of Norway in the past weeks. The Minister had discussions on strengthening bilateral relations with Ethiopia.
The Spokesperson further addressed that Dr. Tewodros stated that Ethiopia and Austria should strengthen their cooperation in trade and investment and also called upon the Austrian government to support Austrian investors to participate in different investment opportunities in Ethiopia. The Austrian government has donated 7 million Euros for drought affected people in Ethiopia.
Mr. Tewolde added to his statement that the Minister also held discussions with Justice and States Secretary Minister of Norway on bilateral relations and in particular to boost cooperation between the two countries in education and green economy development. The Norwegian Minister pledged to support the drought affected people in Ethiopia.
