Ethiopia and China on January 18, 2016, have signed an agreement to cooperate in media and communication sectors, Fana Broadcasting Corporate reported.

Firehiwot Ayalew, State Minister of Government Communication Affairs Office (GCAO), representing Ethiopia and Tian Jin, vice Minister of State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, representing China have signed the agreement.

Besides strong cooperation in infrastructure development with Ethiopia, China is willing to cooperate in media and communication sector as well, Tian Jin said.
