An Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) assembly plant, which is built in Ethiopia at a cost of 50 million Birr, has begun trial production, according to Fana Broadcasting Corporate.
The plant, situated in Gena Daleti Woreda, rested on 5,000 square meters of land. It is the first of its kind in East Africa region.
The ATMs assembly plant would help save foreign currency. The plant’s annual ATMs assembling capacity would be 1,200.
The plant has created job opportunities for 100 people.
