Ethiopia’s newly-appointed Minister of Finance and Economic Development Abdulaziz Mohammed has met with Elman Abdullayev, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Ethiopia and have discussed on the possibilities of economic cooperation between the two countries.

The Ambassador described Azerbaijan as a leading country in the region, and stated its wide export potential and investment opportunities. He also noted that Azerbaijani-made quality products are able to compete on the world markets.

Abdulaziz on his part told the Ambassador about his country’s interest to cooperate with Azerbaijan. He also pointed out that Ethiopia and Azerbaijan need to organize reciprocal visits and establish legal bases for development of bilateral relations.
