Ethiopia announced plans to construct over 750,000 condominium houses in the GTP II period, Fana Broadcasting Corporate reported.

Mekuria Haile, Minister of Urban Development and Housing, said the 335,000 condominium houses will be constructed in Addis Ababa.

Mekuria said the government of Ethiopia will build 430,000 houses and the remaining 243,000 residential units are to be constructed by cooperatives and real estate developers.

The construction of condominium houses will start in Mekelle, Dessie, Kombolcha, Bahir Dar, Adama, Hawassa, Dire Dawa and Jimma regional states, Mekuria stated.
