The Belgian trade mission, with the aim to bolster bilateral trade links, will come to Ethiopia, according to Walta Information Center (WIC).
The trade delegation composed of 70 participants from 48 various enterprises will stay in Ethiopia from November 18-22, 2015, the press release sent to WIC from the Belgian Embassy in Addis Ababa reads.
The firms that make up the trade mission are engaged in urban planning and management, banking and investment, infrastructure development, consumer goods, agriculture and industry.
According to the press release, Belgians turned their eyes to Ethiopia because of the country’s economic growth registered in the past decade.
In order to gather information on opportunities in agriculture, infrastructure development and finance, the trade mission is expected to meet officials from the Ethiopian Investment Commission, Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Association and World Bank Ethiopia Office, among others.
