Atlas Development and Support Services (ADSS) has plans to set up a joint venture in Ethiopia with local company named Orchid Business Group PLC.

Orchid is a company committed to infrastructure, construction, manufacturing and logistics.

Nairobi-based Company, Atlas Development is known for providing the full spectrum support services including risk management consulting, civil engineering and provision of remote workforce accommodation, facilities management, turn-key medical support, transportation and storage.

Carl Esprey, CEO of Atlas, said: “This significant development is in line with the company’s strategy to focus on advancing its project pipeline in Ethiopia to open up additional opportunities.”

The joint venture will be 50/50 percent basis. The joint venture’s primary intention is to extend services to clients in natural resource development and infrastructure sectors, through civil engineering, project management, work-force accommodation solutions and on-going life support services.

Atlas Development will make sure the provision of international standard services, as Orchid contributes local support to the joint venture.
