African Trade and Insurance Agency (ATIA) announced plans to associate with domestic institutions for the expansion of investment projects in Ethiopia, Ethiopian News Agency reported.

ATIA has desires to extend reliable financial support and insurance to solve problems related to trade and investment sectors in Ethiopia.

It was indicated that Ethiopia is near to being the 11th member state to join ATIA.

There is a workshop going on today in Addis Ababa to discuss ways to solve the dangers of loss of business and investments in Ethiopia.

The workshop aims at creating awareness on how a membership to ATIA can bolster trade and investment through reliable financial guarantee.

COMESA has initiated the establishment of ATIA and was founded with the support of African Development Bank 14 years ago.
