The first Ethio-Netherlands Business Event launched on November 5, 2015, in Rijswijk, the Netherlands, Fana Broadcasting Corporate reported.

The two-day Business Event was organized by the Ethiopian Embassy in Brussels, Netherlands Embassy in Addis Ababa and the Netherlands-Africa Business Council (NABC).

Delegates of Ethiopia led by Ahmed Shide, Finance and Economic Cooperation State Minister, private sectors partners and officials of the two sides are attending the Business Event.

Ahmed Shide, opening the Business Event said the Event will help enhance the steadily growing business relations between the two countries.

The State Minister said: “The Netherlands is our number one flower export market and we are here today to advance the Netherlands investments in Ethiopia.”

The information obtained from the Ethiopian Investment Commission states; there are 212 Dutch companies that have acquired investment licenses in Ethiopia.
