Ethiopian Energy Authority has denied the news on government’s plan to increase electricity tariff, according to Ethiopian News Agency (ENA).

The Authority, in a press statement sent to ENA, has denied the news reported by some media outlets that Ethiopia may raise electricity tariff.

The statement states that the Authority has not received any proposal to review electricity tariff.
