Addis Credit and Saving to Offer 2.2 Billion Loan to Micro Enterprises

Addis Credit and Saving Institution (ACSI) S.C., Ethiopia’s microfinance institution has planned to offer 2.2 billion Birr loan for more than 50,000 citizens involved in micro and small sectors this year, Walta Information Center (WIC) reported.

Miraf Alemayehu, Public Relation Head at the Institution told WIC the Credit Institution is preparing to boost economic benefits of youths and women in Addis Ababa.

Miraf said the Institution aims to collect 1.32 billion Birr from customers’ saving and other stakeholders.

The Credit Institution extends loan for citizens organized in group and private entrepreneurs, Miraf said.

ACSI was founded in 2000 G.C. by 300,000 customers with over four billion Birr capital.
