Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations (AACCSA) and Thailand Board of Investment held a business-to-business forum on October 20, 2015, according to Ethiopian News Agency.

More than 11 Thai business delegations coming from garment, tourism, construction, food processing and agriculture sector have participated at the half day business meeting.

Thailand’s Representative Ambassador to Ethiopia Peerasak Chantavarin said 50-year diplomatic relation of Ethiopia and Thailand need to grow in to business relation.

The Ambassador also exhorted Ethiopians to search business opportunities in Thailand.

Getachew Regassa, Secretary-General of AACCSA said business-to-business relations helps companies of both countries to form business partnerships.

Annual imports from Thailand to Ethiopia values USD 50 million, while Ethiopia’s export volume amounts to USD 11 million on average.
