Kefi Minerals has awarded Ausdrill, subsidiary of African Mining Services (AMS) to undertake all pre-mining earthworks and open pit mining at its Tulu Kapi gold mining project, Mining weekly reported.

The joint work between Kefi Minerals and AMS will be significant for the efficient undertaking of the project.

AMS has agreed to receive payment from Kefi on each meter cubic delivery, where as purchases for input costs like explosives and fuel will be covered by Kefi.

On a related story, Kefi had assigned Australia-based Contractor Sedgman for plant construction, procurement and construction management for the Tulu Kapi project.
