Ethiopia Commodity Exchange (ECX) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Malawi’s AHL Commodity Exchange on October 16, 2015, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, New Business Ethiopia reported.

AHL’s Chairman Dr.Evans Matabwa and ECX’s CEO Ermias Eshetu have signed the MoU.

The MoU aims at wide range technical, training and consultancy cooperation between the two exchanges.

Along with the signing of MoU, a delegation of government technocrat team from the Ministry of Trade and Ministry of Agriculture of Malawi has visited ECX’s warehouse, witnessed the Open-Out-Cry trading and eTRADE Platform.

Malawi’s AHL is a marketplace where buyers and sellers can transact trade of commodities with an assurance on quality, delivery and payment.
