The first Arab Ethiopian Exhibition and Conference for Industrial Exports and Investment was held in Ethiopia on October 15, 2015, Ministry of Industry disclosed.

Industry Minister Ahmed Abtew at the opening of the conference said the event will be instrumental in strengthening Ethio-Arab ties.

Moreover, the event could create a platform for African countries and Arabs to hold business talks.
Ahmed also said Ethiopia desires to work with Arab countries in areas of industrialization.
