The Addis Ababa City Roads Authority (AACRA) is said to take over the construction of the three unfinished road projects from the Israeli company, Tidhar Excavation and Earth Moving Ltd., after being sued on tax evasion and bribery.

According to Fekadu Haile (Eng.), Director General of AACRA, told Capital the Authority had chosen to complete the projects because most of the roads require asphalt work before being open for traffic.

AACRA is to carry out the construction of the 4.2 km Sidist Kilo-Jan Meda-French Embassy-Gurara road and the General Wingate to Pasteur and Pasteur to Abune Petros (Piazza) road projects as well.
