Century Promotion Services (CPS) had signed a five year contract to use part of the Jan Meda Sport, Education and Training Center, located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to organize two exhibitions and bazaars for Christmas and Easter, according to Addis Fortune.

CPS had been the leading organizer of holiday bazaars and exhibitions at the Addis Ababa Market Development and Exhibition Center for the last 10 years.

According to Zewege Jemaneh, General Manager of CPS, CPS had inked the deal with Addis Ababa Trade and Industry Bureau (AATIB) to use part of Jan Meda for the coming five years.

CPS is going to pay 220,000 Birr per year for two holidays. Zewege said one event could cost CPS three million Birr.

CPS agreed with AATIB to take a total area of 15,000 square meters. And bazaar participants at are required to pay 15,000 Birr for nine square meter area, Zewege explained.

The entrance fee for the Jan Meda bazaars and exhibitions is 10 Birr.

Sponsors of the Jan Meda bazaars and exhibitions are Dashen Beer and BGI Ethiopia, Zewege indicated.
