Ethiopia is set to host the first edition of AIMA-Africa (Airport Infrastructures and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Aviation) meeting scheduled for September 22-24, 2015, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopian News Agency reported.
The meeting will kick off at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, sources disclosed.
AIMA-Africa is organized by BCI Aerospace, prominent producer of high profile international business convention including Aeromart Toulouse, Aerospace and Defense Supplier Summit Seattle, in collaboration with Ethiopian Airlines, Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Pan African Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the African Airlines Association and others as well.
400 participants representing 250 Companies from 30 nations will attend the meeting, it was learnt.
The press release sent to Ethiopian News Agency (ENA) states Ethiopia will benefit from the experience sharing of other nations on airport infrastructure building and maintenance.
Moreover, the conference will be a platform for Ethiopia to create business partnerships with service providers of airport and infrastructure organizations, the press release reads.
