The Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations (ECCSA) disclosed its 7th General Regular Assembly meeting will be held on September 17, 2015, in Addis Ababa at Sheraton Addis Hotel.
Solomon Afework, ECCSA President, in a press conference held at the Association’s Conference Hall on September 14, 2015, said it will reward government officials for their support to ECCSA.
The Assembly is expected to assess the 2013-14 and 2014-15 performance reports as well.
Among the participants of the Assembly are President Mulatu Teshome, different Mnisters, State Ministers, higher government officials, ambassadors and diplomatic community members, Solomon stated.
ECCSA was founded for the purpose of bolstering trade and investment, doing advocacy, and empowering private sectors capacity in Ethiopia.
In the past two years, ECCSA had prepared 36 business to business forums, held 10 consultative meetings and two conferences with the government on different working environment challenges, Secretary General Gasaw Debebe at ECCSA reminded.
