Japan sets to establish an industrial park in Ethiopia in the coming two years, Dr. Arkebe Oqubay, Special Advisor to the Ethiopian Prime Minister, disclosed.
Dr. Arkebe Oqubay while giving a speech at the Africa-Japan Forum said Japan has listed out the necessary conditions to establish industrial park in Ethiopia.
Arkebe applauded Tokyo International Cooperation on African Development’s (TICAD) effort for creating a policy dialogue between the Japan and Ethiopia.
Ethiopia has a plan to build industrial parks in the economic corridors of the country with USD 10 billion capital investment in ten years to come. And the industrial parks will be established in Hawassa, Modjo, Adama, Dire Dawa, Debrebirhan, Kombolcha and Mekelle.
