The Addis Ababa Industry Development Bureau unveiled it is going to avail 547 hectares of land to investors in GTP II.
308 hectares of land has been reserved at Kilinto area in the Easter suburbs of the city. The remaining land mass is dispersed across Nifas Silk Lafto, Bole and Akaki sub-cities and other areas situated in the peripheries of Addis Ababa.
Yohannes Bekele, Head of the Bureau told Capital the bureau aspires to attract many investors and intends to give most of the land to those interested in investing in the manufacturing sector.
The bureau is devising new regulation that will require investors to fulfill 10 criteria to be eligible in the land granting process, to ascertain the appropriate allocation of land.
