Awarding ceremony for winners of Fourth National ICT Innovation Competition was held yesterday, August 6, 2015, Ethiopian News Agency reported.

Of the 500 ICT developer competitors to the Fourth National ICT Innovation Competition, 300 submitted their projects to compete in two categories, General and Women-Only.

From the General category, three individuals won, with the projects “Electrocardiography (ECG)”, “Askuala”, and “Core Bus Reservation System”, and the other three from Women-Only category won prizes for “Rule-based Amharic Spell Checker and Amharic English Translation Aid”, “U-uta Mobile Apps”, and “Prenatal and Neonatal Health Advisory Support System”.

75,000 to 25,000 Birr was awarded for winners.
