The fifth Africa Hotel Investment Forum (AHIF) is going to be held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia at Sheraton Addis, from September 30 to October 1, 2015, according to Capital.

The organizers of AHIF are vowing to deviate the spotlight on “doing business” in the continent using data and specially commissioned research from a wide range of industry experts to lighten both the challenges and the opportunities.

Over 500 leading international hotel investors, local operators, ministers, government officials and industry experts from around 40 countries will attend the Forum.

Matthew Weihs, Managing Director of Bench Events, the organizer of the Africa Hotel Investment Forum, said, “We are entering an exciting and dynamic phase in the African economic growth story, with travel and tourism now accounting for 8.1 percent of GDP and forecast to rise at 4.9 percent per annum until 2025.”
