Sudan and Ethiopia have signed a 500 KW power lines contract on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, which allows Sudan to benefit from the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam.

Engineer Jafar Ali Al-Basher, Director of the Sudanese Company for Electricity and Director of Ethiopian Company for Electricity and Energy have signed the contract.

Ethiopia and Sudan have chosen the Italian CESI to undertake the consulting work for the power line.
