Federal Office of Road Fund (ORF) has maintained 133, 000 kilometers of road with 6.4 billion Birr in GTP I, Walta Information Center (WIC) reported.

Abedella Gudi, Deputy Public Relations head at ORF told WIC the office has planned to maintain 143, 200 kilometers of road with 6.99 billion Birr in GTP I period but maintained 133, 000 kilometers of road with 6.4 billion Birr.

To carry out the maintenance task, ORF, besides budget allocated by the government, has collected revenue from fuel tax, interest of treasury bid, road service, vehicles oil and creams as well as payments of punishments.

Since its establishment in 1989 EC, ORF has maintained 360, 000 kilometers of road and the total contribution of the office concerning road activities reaches 14 percents, Abdella underscored.
