Ethiopia seeks to strengthen its economic ties with Belgium, Ethiopian President Mulatu Teshome said while discussing with the departing Belgian Ambassador to Ethiopia, Hughes Chantry on July 20, 2015.

President Mulatu noted Belgian investors need to involve in Ethiopia’s wide investment opportunities.
Hughes Chantry on his part expressed Belgium’s intention to bolster its political relations with Ethiopia into economic cooperation.

The departing Ambassador mentioned, Belgian investors have involved in civil engineering, textile, floriculture and agro-processing sectors and the like in Ethiopia.

He furthered, Belgian businesspersons will arrive Ethiopia in October to explore investment opportunities in Ethiopia.
