Ethiopia’s State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dewano Kedir held talks with a Thai delegation led by Deputy Foreign Minister, Don Pramudiwinai on July 14, 2015, said Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).

During the discussion, Dewano said, since Ethiopia’s investment opportunities in textile, garment, leather products, agro processing and health sectors are profitable areas, he proposed to Thai investors to invest in the manufacturing sector.

Dewano also guaranteed that government of Ethiopia would extend hand to support Thai investors to invest in Ethiopia.

Deputy Foreign Minister of Thailand on his part stated Thailand has plans to send a board of investors and officials to Addis Ababa in the coming months.

They have also shared ideas on building industrial zones in Ethiopia.
