The manufacturing sector has recorded an average annual growth of 22 percent in the GTP I period, Ethiopian Ministry of Industry said.

At the celebration of the 9th Civil Service Day, Minister of Industry, Ahmed Abetew said, industrial products recorded annual average growth rate of 14 percent and the manufacturing sector has grown by 4.4 percent a year in the GTP I period.

As per the ministry’s evaluation, the performances in the factories, metal engineering products, manufacturing of railway inputs, GRD electricity inputs and installations of sugar factories in the GTP I period were promising.
