Ethiopia, Ghana Agreed to Expand Ties to Trade and Investment Sectors

Ethiopia and Ghana have agreed to bolster their enduring political relations to trade and investment sectors, according to Ethiopian News Agency.

The agreement was held as Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn welcomed Hanna Serwaa Tetteh Ghanaian Minister of Foreign Affairs on June 23, 2015.

Hanna Serwaa Tetteh said, “We talked about building on the present as well as looking back the past and see how we could encourage more cooperation in different areas in order to create more trade, more investment and more exchanges between Ethiopia and Ghana.”

She also said they have conversed about strengthening culture, tourism and sports ties between the two countries.
