Ethiopian Roads Authority said the number of local road contractors has increased in the last five years of GTP I period.

Samson Wondimu, Communication Director of the Authority told Walta Information Center (WIC) at the beginning of the GTP period the numbers of local contractors were 12 and now it has reached to 93.

Samson stated the increment shows 89 percent achievement and the number of local consultants have also increased from 25 to 60 within the same period.
