Turkish investors expressed their interest to partner with Ethiopian investors in areas of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and detergents in a business meeting held with Ethiopian companies on June 9, 2015, according to Ethiopian News Agency.

115 Ethiopian and 23 Turkish companies discussed about the possibilities of joint venture in the business meeting.

WAFA Marketing and Promotion Private Limited Company and Commercial Counselors’ Office, Turkish Embassy in Addis Ababa have come together to organize the business meeting.

Turkish Ambassador to Ethiopia Osman Yavuzalp said this business-to-business meeting would be instrumental in fostering trade and investment relations of the two countries.

Ashenafi Hussein, Ethiopian Pharmaceuticals Fund and Supply Agency Director said 23 Turkish investors have shown their interest to engage in chemical and chemical products sector.
