Hungary plans to open embassy in Ethiopia within the next 18 months to strengthen relations, Hungarian Foreign Minister said.

Hungary also contemplates to open trading center in Ethiopia.

Hungary’s exports to Africa currently reach to 2.3%, the Minister said. Hungary is keen to increase its exports in info-communications, water management services and in engineering know-how to Ethiopia, he added.
