The administration of six public enterprises and the organizations’ labor unions signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on May 6, 2015 for work place cooperation and safe working environment, Ethiopian News Agency reported.

The MoU targets on securing safety and benefit of employees and improving working conditions.

More than 1,180 government organizations have signed the MoU with their respective trade union.

Ethiopian Airlines, Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics Services and Ethiopian Railway Corporation are among which signed the MoU.
