The Addis Ababa City Administration Roads Authority has signed contracts with seven contractors and two consultant firms for construction of road and design study worth 309,411,764.98 Birr.

The construction works will be carried out at the area of new condominium houses and in areas that require maintenance.

The 980 meters and 30 meter long width asphalt road at Bole Bulbula condomium houses area will be undertaken by Eniy Construction Company. The construction costs 47,088,672.53 Birr.

Kara Kore and Genet park area which covers 3,100 meter long and 21 meter width asphalt road construction will be undertaken by Cherinet Road Construction with 131,954,544.25 Birr cost.

Medcon Construction will construct Bole Arabsa condominium cobble road construction with 55,098,885.65 Birr cost. Tiret International will also undertake cobble stone construction in the same area.

United Consulting Engineers has undertaken Autobus Tera- Messalemia- Asra Simint Mazoria or Kolfe ring road design revision work. It costs 1,275,982.50 Birr.

Waken Construction, Yared Construction and Asnif Construction will undertake the access road construction in the 40/60 condominium houses area. These gravel roads construction will take place in three different areas and their total length is 25 kilometers. Each contractor carries out the construction with 25.5 million Birr.

The total length of the asphalt, cobble and gravel roads covers 37.08 kilometers.
