Ethiopia: Adama Customs Office collected USD 161 Million

Agricultural and industrial products that Ethiopia exported to the international market via Adama in the past six months have generated a total of USD 161 Million. This was disclosed by the Adama Branch Revenue and Customs Office.

The revenue the branch office collected exceeds by USD 30 Million when compared to the achievements the Office made in the same period last year.

Among the products that were exported via the route some are cereals, live animals, oil seeds, cotton, fruits and vegetables, garments, honey, spices, wine and beer.

The Office has also opened an office that operates 24 hours a day and gives service to exporters and consolidates legal transactions of cereals and live animals by controlling their illegal sale.
