Ministry of Trade announced the retail price for a liter of ethanol blended benzene in Addis Ababa is going be 18.73 Birr from Friday, January 9, 2015 to Sunday, February 8, 2015.

The statement issued by the Ministry noted blending ethanol with benzene was halted starting from Wednesday, October 15, 2015, due to the critical downfall in ethanol stocks in the country. Nonetheless, ethanol stock has now revived thus the process of mixing has resumed.

The Ministry also proclaimed other adjustments will be made in accordance with the global petroleum price and supply of ethanol.
