New Mango Juice Factory Inaugurated in Ethiopia

Juice Factory built at an estimated cost of 80 Million Birr in Sebeta Town was inaugurated Yesterday, November 19, 2014.

During the inauguration State Minister for Industry, Dr. Mebratu Melese, said the factory is going to play a vital role in replacing imported items and saving the nation’s hard currency.

The factory, Sebeta Industry Complex Mango Juice Factory, is said to have the capacity of producing 4000 liters of mango juice in a single hour.

According to Petram Plc’s Project Coordinator, Hasan Abdurahim, the factory intends to supply 80 percent of its products to the local market and export the rest 20 percent.

Currently the factory has created job opportunities for 60 people and it is said it will add its value upto 40 percent.
