Ethiopian Airlines started disclosed it is set to start flying to Doha, capital of Qatar, starting from the coming December.

Ethiopian is going to fly to Doha three times a week and this is scheduled to start on Tuesday, December 2, 2014.

The African Airline’s new destination is going to take its total number of international destinations to 84 and mark the 10th destination in Middle East.

The press release by the Airline states, Ethiopian’s extensive network in Africa, 49 destination’s in the continent, is going to grant travelers from and to Doha a convenient and seamless connectivity options. The press release furthered, convenient connections will be available to and from cities such as Johannesburg, Nairobi, Kinshasa, Lagos, Accra, Dakar, Dar-es-Salaam and Entebbe.

Commenting on the development, Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO, Tewolde Gebremariam, said; “We are very pleased to spread our wings to Doha, one of the most vibrant and fastest growing economic hubs in the Middle East. The new flights to Doha will offer better connectivity and more convenient mobility between the State of Qatar and the Continent of Africa."

Ethiopian Airlines’ operation in the past is currently getting close to 70 years and it currently is flying to 81 destinations across five continents.
