Ethiopia: Ethiopian Starts Daily Flight From Entebbe to Juba

Ethiopian AirlinesEthiopian Airlines started giving a daily flight service from Entebbe to Juba with its latest B757 -767 New Generation aircraft.

Commenting on this Abebe Angessa, the Airline’s Ugandan Area Manager, said, “We are pleased to increase our flights to Juba from Entebbe daily starting 5th August 2014. We have been flying to the city via Addis Ababa and now we need our customers from Uganda to get direct services at competitive fares in the region”.

He also noted the Boeing B767, 240-seater, plane is reserved for the new route for which the trip will cost U.S $ 400.

The slot was allowed for Ethiopian after Air Uganda was grounded by the Uganda CAA.

The daily flight service is said to enhance trade between Uganda and South Sudan by enabling the two countries export their products to one another.

Abebe commented, “We are offering modern fleet in this route and give out competitive cargo service our competitors have not been able to match”.

The departure time for the flight from Entebbe International Airport is at 2:00pm and arrival in Juba is at 3:00pm.
