Ethiopia: Ethiopian Received Its 9th Dreamliner

ethiopian airlinesEthiopian Airlines disclosed it received its ninth Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which it decided to call “Great Wall of China”, on Sunday, August 3, 2014.

Commenting on this, Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO, Tewolde Gebremariam, “For almost seven decades, Ethiopian has been playing a pioneering role in African aviation by providing its esteemed customers the most technologically advanced aircraft the industry has to offer. The 787 is our core fleet on our fast expanding mid and long range routes”.

He also noted, his Airline operates the Dreamliner, along with 777, in its daily flight to Beijing, Shanghai and to Honk Kong with the delivery of the ninth Dreamliner.

According to the CEO, Ethiopian’s Dreamliners fly to India, Europe, US, Brazil and African nations. “Going forward, we will continue to expand our 787 destinations with the aim of providing to our esteemed customers the ultimate on-board comfort", he noted.

Ethiopian was the second Airline to take delivery of the ultramodern aircraft back in August 2012 and currently operates the largest 787 fleet in Africa.
