Shoa Trading and Shopping Company is set to open two more hypermarkets in Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa. The hypermarkets are said to be located around Sar Bet and CMC areas.

It was a year ago Shoa opened Ethiopia’s first hypermarket inside Zefmesh Grand Mall. This hypermarket stretches on a 3000 square meters area.

Shoa renders different services here. In collaboration with Nib International Bank, it gives forex services. It also has a children’s playing area and a day care center. All under one roof, the hypermarket makes available for the public a wide variety of products.

According to Girmay Alemayehu, General Manager of the hypermarket, Shoa is intending to start selling products of brand names it has selected after collaborating with manufacturers.

The next step by Shoa is opening the two hypermarkets in Bole and Kirkos Sub cities.

Currently, the hypermarket has made discount on most of the products it is selling as it is celebrating its one year anniversary.
