Africa Oil Collecting Seismic Data in Ethiopia

Africa Oil, a Canadian oil company, is going to collect seismic data in Arba Minch, Ethiopia, at a new oil exploration block.

According to Africa Oil, the Company obtained the block back in February from the Ministry of Mines.

The block is said to cover 42,000 Square Meters in the great East Africa Rift Valley.

Africa Oil was engaged in oil exploration in Ethiopia in Ogaden and South Omo Basins. The Company also has vast experience in exploring and extracting oil in different African countries.

The oil company currently has three projects here in Ethiopia. it has blocks 7 and 8 at the Ogaden Basin and the South Omo Block.
