Agricultural inputs that are worth 8.5 Billion Birr are being distributed in Ethiopia by Agricultural Input Supply Enterprise (AISE). The inputs are being distributed for the 2006/2007 crop season.

Amarech Bekele, Communication Directorate Director at the Enterprise, noted 840,869 Metric Tons of agricultural inputs which are being distributed were bought from home and abroad.

Among the inputs that are being distributed some are Organic fertilizer, vegetable seeds, herbicides, insecticide and NPS, Amarech explained.

According to Walta Information Center Agricultural Input Supply Enterprise is a governmental enterprise, engaged in importing and distributing mainly agricultural inputs.
