Crown Paints Kenya Ltd has proposed to open a factory in Ethiopia at the cost of U.S $ 8 Million by 2015. This was after the company’s plant in Tanzania commenced production in January 2014.
As Crown Paints’ Group expands its operation in the East African market, Chief Executive Officer of the group, Rakesh Rao, noted “We want to establish a large plant in Ethiopia”.
Rao further noted his company has started talks with the Ethiopian government for the nation’s market is special.
Crown currently has plants in Tanzania and Keya.
