Ethiopia: Mulatu Held Talks with Chinese Business Tycoons

14 Chinese business delegates had talk with President Mulatu Teshome over investment opportunities they in Ethiopia. It was Wang Shouchang, Head of the Academy of Chinese Culture, that led the Chinese delegates.

During the occasion Mulatu stated the Chinese business tycoons will be profitable if they invest, among other sectors, in the areas of textile, leather, and food processing. He further noted the Ethiopian government encourages investors that engage in the manufacturing sector.

Mulatu also stated the companies will be able to supply their products globally for Ethiopia has an established trade ties with its neighbors and the free market opportunities in Europe, USA and China.

Shouchang on his part said the business tycoons were from different famous Chinese companies and they are here to access investment opportunities in the country.

According to the Ethiopian News Agency the Chinese companies are well experienced in mining, drug equipment and food processing.
