President Urged UAE Investors to Invest in Ethiopia

alotaibaOn Wednesday, May 14, 2014 President Mulatu Teshome urged investors from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to invest in Ethiopia. He highlighted  his country’s conducive investment atmosphere and the prevailing peace and stability that they can utilize.

Mulatu briefed Sheikh Ahmed Bin Khalaf Al-Otaiba, a business man from the UAE, on the favorable conditions in the country. He mentioned the investment policy, peace and stability that is being witnessed in the country and the nation’s rapid economic growth.

The President did also pointed out companies from all over the world are choosing Ethiopia for their investment. He added, the long standing good relation of the two countries can boost the investment.

Al-Otaiba commented he came to Ethiopia putting in mind the good investment opportunity. He added he is also here to undertake some preparations for future investments.

According to Ethiopian News Agency Al-Otaiba Group has investments in South Africa Turkey, Egypt, Sudan and Tunisia.
